Soak 1 cup chickpeas overnight and cook until soft.
Heat oil
add 1 tsp cumin seeds
1 chopped onion
and cook until golden brown.
Add 2 chopped tomatoes
1 green chili
and cook until tomatoes soften.
Add 1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp garam masala
and mix well.
Add the cooked chickpeas and simmer for 20 minutes until flavors blend.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
